New Govt Veterinary Colleges Maharashtra

To meet rising demand, two new government veterinary colleges have been approved:

• Parli, Beed District
• Baramati, Pune District

Each college will proposal 80 BVSc seats for each year and is equipped with recent amenities, together with lecture halls, veterinary hospitals, labs, and research centres. Entrance fee is expected from the 2025-26 academic session, maintained by a total budget of ₹671.77 crores.

Admission Process intended for BVSc & AH Maharashtra

Admissions are based on NEET-UG 2025 scores and are divided into two quotas:

1. All India Quota (15%)
   • Managed by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI)
   • Open to students from all over India
2. Maharashtra State Quota (85%)
   • Managed by CET Cell Maharashtra
   • Seats reserved for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories
   • Cut-offs vary annually based on NEET performance and seat availability
