| The Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College and PG Centre, the first self-financed Ayurveda Medical College in Kerala, is nestled in Kattakada, a mere 18 km from the Thiruvananthapuram Bus Station and Railway station. Inaugurated and presented to the public on 28th August 2002 by the then esteemed Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. A.K.
