Dr. NTR University Notification for Admission into BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Courses 2025-26

The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has out the official Announcement for Admission into BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Courses for the academic year 2025-26. Admissions will be led under both All India Quota seats and Competent Authority Quota (CAQ) in Government & Private Un-aided Non-Minority Colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Courses

Age Requirement

• Candidates must have completed 17 years as on 31st December 2025.
• No upper age limit is prescribed.

Educational Qualification

• BAMS (Ayurveda): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG – 2025.
• BHMS (Homoeopathy): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and NEET UG – 2025 qualification.
• BUMS (Unani): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and NEET UG – 2025 qualification.

Special Note for BUMS:

• Candidates must have studied Urdu/Arabic/Persian as a subject at 10th or 12th standard.
• If not, they must study Urdu, Arabic, and Mantiq Wa-Falsafa (Logic & Philosophy) during the 1st professional BUMS course.

Minimum Cutoff Score in NEET UG – 2025

Candidates requirement achieve the following cutoff scores in NEET UG 2025:

Application & Counselling Process

  • OC/BC: ₹2950 (₹2500 + 18% GST)
  • SC/ST: ₹2360 (₹2000 + 18% GST)

Competent Authority Quota (CAQ) Seats

• These are State Merit seats filled after deducting 15% All India Quota seats in Government AYUSH colleges and 50% Category ‘A’ seats in Private Non-Minority Colleges.
• Both Government and Private colleges participate under CAQ counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University.

Tuition Fee Structure (Private Colleges)

• Homoeopathy (BHMS): ₹24,500 per year
• Ayurveda (BAMS): ₹24,500 per year
• Unani (BUMS): Fee as fixed by Government of Andhra Pradesh

Government College fee will be as per state G.O.

Selection & Admission
